I wasn’t going to post anything about fall until September 1st… until I realized everything I was ordering started selling out! If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, seasonal decor is sold in limited quantities and it’s often gone before the season even arrives.
I want to give my wonderful blog readers a chance to get in before it’s too late, so I’ve rounded up my 15 favorite recent purchases for fall (all under $60 with a high sell-out risk!)
Click/tap on any item to shop it directly, and keep scrolling to see each one in our home…
This year, I’m drawn to warm rich neutrals like burgundy, terra-cotta and olive green. I sourced several new throw pillows and blankets, and these were my favorite of the bunch…
Target has a great seasonal assortment (as usual) and plaid is a classic pattern that pairs well with floral patterns and solids. The terra-cotta pillow has a really nice texture and fringe detail (it comes with a poly insert but I swapped it out for this quality down alternative 22×22″ insert). And you can bet I’ll be using this lightweight knit olive green throw all year round (PS—stay tuned for a big roundup with 30+ budget fall throw pillows and blankets coming soon!)
The boucle pillow covers are sold in a set of two, and offered in other colors (I also got it in brown and light pink!)
I’m really loving the combination of these 4 pillows and how versatile they are with other neutrals. Like this waffle weave terra-cotta blanket—another favorite that gives me all the fall feels:
It’s actually somewhere between a muted brown and terra-cotta, not too saturated. This one sold out already but you can still order it for delivery the first week of September—I also found this throw currently in stock that looks like it may be the same one.
Let’s talk leaves and vases! At the top of my list this year are these burgundy cotinus stems:
They’re quite tall at 34″ so you can use them in large vases, or trim/fold them down into smaller planters as well. I placed a few into this ceramic planter (edit: the planter just went out of stock as I published this, ughhhh!)
Can’t say I’m surprised it’s already gone but that’s a real bummer. This black mango wood vase also just went out of stock temporarily but they’re restocking soon and you can still place the order now:
This is another versatile piece you can fill with stems/flowers, or even display on its own. I filled mine with faux burgundy eucalyptus stems (I used these last fall, too!)
One more vase I had to add to the list—how gorgeous is this fluted pink glass?
I added three of these preserved mauve hydrangeas—they look like fresh clipped hydrangeas, but last forever! And the dusty mauve color is stunning.
For our coffee table, I found this large woven water hyacinth tray that serves as a catch-all. Most of these trays are too small to hold larger items like books, but this one was the best price I found for this size 18″.)
The amber taper candles are another find from last year, but they’re fun to bring out during autumn. They’re also available in other colors and come in a pack of 12, so these will last a long time!
This sideboard is always one of my favorite spots to create seasonal vignettes. Candles are always a must, seasonal stems as well. This year I also added this seagrass basket set which adds texture and warmth—plus a good amount of storage (you can also fit letter paper in the large box, so it would work great in an office/desk area!)
I shared this beaded garland on Instagram and you guys loved it too—I’m such a fan of this one right now (especially for Halloween). It comes with two small tassel garlands as well (great for hanging on knobs) for only $9 shipped—best deal of the year!
Alright friends, I hope you’re ready for seasonal decor because I just finished editing almost 200 photos have unlimited inspiration to share over the next couple months 😉 If you’re as excited about fall as I am, make sure you’re following me on Instagram so you don’t miss out on any of the good stuff.
Back here in two days with a special post about a special little lady ?
