The backyard string lights are perfect since we didn’t have any trees or structures in the yard to hang the lights. It’s a simple process that requires just a handful of materials and limited tools.
Before beginning, I stained the 4×4’s with my favorite dark walnut stain + sealer. Pressure treated wood doesn’t have the nicest natural coloring so I’d recommend this!
After attaching the posts to corner braces and adding concrete it is time for leveling. Before it begins to set (which happens within minutes) you’ll want to look at it from all angles and make sure it’s level.
After drilling some holes for drainage it is time to add some rocks, soil, and plants.
