The Christmas candles are lit, holiday tunes playing and hot cocoa on the stove… it can only mean one thing!
Welcome to our annual Holiday Home Tour. For our family, this truly is the most wonderful time of year.
And 2023 is the most meaningful year yet, with an excited four year old, and a sweet baby experiencing all of the magic for the first time.
Fair warning: I took this photoshoot as an opportunity to capture my babies at this precious stage, while they’re still little and full of wonder.
I got a little teary eyed while editing these, wishing I could freeze this moment in time. My heart is so full.
These two share a bond like no other. They can’t get enough of each other!
Alright, I know you want to see some of the decorating too. For our Christmas tree this year, I kept it pretty simple with a brick red, sage green and white palette.
Old fashioned candles, ribbon bows, a pearl garland, eucalyptus stems, baby’s breath and DIY ornaments adorn the branches.
The coordinating gift wrap was carefully planned out (my favorite part!)
This little boy is the best gift of all…
I carried the eucalyptus and baby’s breath over to the mantel garland.
Time is a scarce resource these days, so I kept the rest of the decor simple and recycled from last year.
Our little ballerina is opening for the Nutcracker this weekend, and we took her to see the real performance in person last weekend. I couldn’t be more proud of this girl!
We’ll be spending Christmas at home this year, and I’m so looking forward to slowing down and enjoying the time off. It is long overdue after such a busy year.
Speaking of busy… I can’t believe I’m typing this but the Hacienda Hideaway is FINISHED! We’re finishing up the final punch list this week, photographing it next week and getting it live ASAP.
I owe you updates and photos for two bedrooms, and those will be coming up next.
And you know what that means? Now we can finally get back to our laundry room renovation!
Something to look forward to in the new year 🙂
We put a Christmas tree upstairs in the playroom this year, complete with a train set, and the kids love it.
A few more outtakes for the road, because they’re just too sweet not to share.
He said his first word, Mama, last week. Be still my heart.
From our family to yours—happy holidays!

Hi Jenna-Happy New Year! I had a question about your Christmas tree lights. Did they have a slow twinkle setting, or only a fast flashing kind of twinkle?
Jenna Sue says
Hi! There is a fast and slower setting, but the slow is still relatively fast to me.
Vanessa says
Merry Christmas Jenna Sue, Lucas and kids!
