The time has come once again, ghouls and boys, for the return of the Haunted Heights House…
This year there’s been a ghostly invasion, with spooky spirits lurking around every corner. Welcome to the Haunted House of Shadows…
We’ve had bats, cats and spooky-chic décor before, but this year rises above the rest.
These ghost shadow casters might be my best a-ha moment to date—a huge impact for such little effort and cost. I can’t wait to share how easy they are to recreate in an upcoming post.
I spent a long time experimenting to find the best and simplest method for creating window silhouettes, and I’ll share my technique in another post next week. It’s a fun and low cost DIY that the whole family can participate in!
Minimal effort, maximum effect. That’s my kinda Halloween decor.
No it’s not AI generated—I got myself a real fog machine for this shoot. Zero regrets!
Are ghost shadows the next vinyl bats and giant skeletons? Leave your prediction in the comments!
Stay tuned for all the fun Halloween DIY’s that made this possible—coming up next! 👻

My jaw dropped at the price of the fog machine. Looks like I’ll have to get a cheaper one for now. Hopefully I can upgrade one day in the future. Thank you for all the inspiration!

Definitely a splurge! The reviews for the cheaper Amazon models I was looking at weren’t great and I wanted something that will last for a long time. I hope you’re able to find a good one!

I was inspired by this and started my ghost
Project today!! Just need to figure out the correct outdoor light to put. I got an LED one and it’s too blurry.

You need a specific light! Working on that blog post now.
